The New York Times has a great article on the recent spate of fee-overkill in today’s airline industry. From the increased ticketing fees industry-wide to the ridiculous carry-on fees imposed by Spirit Air, these increases are getting the notice of not just the public; the House Subcommittee on Aviation and the Department of Transportation are both considering rules to insure these fees are properly disclosed to the traveling public.
